Andrea M. Chait, Ph.D.

| Dr. Andrea Chait obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Florida, Gainesville in 2002. She is a licensed psycholgist in several states including Rhode Island, is a nationally Board Certified Behavior Analyst, is nationally certified as a School Psychologist, and is licensed to conduct, and/or possesses certifications to practice, a number of other therapies and/or mental health interventions. Dr. Chait is the Director of Clinical and Educational Services at the Pathways Stratetic Teaching Center in Warwick, RI and has held other similar positions elsewhere across the country. |  |

Dr. Chait is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Psychological Association, the National Association of School Psychologists, the Autism Society of America, and others. She has published widely concerning the condition known as autism and is a leading authority on the subject. Dr. Chait works very closely with Dr. Sheila O'Brien Quinn of our department assisting her in the ongoing development of our undergraduate track preparing students to become Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts upon graduation.
Andrea holds an appointment as a Adjunct Professor in our department.
