November 6, 2008, Newport, RI : On November 5, 2008, seven new members of Psi Chi were inducted in a formal ceremony in Ochre Court. In the proceedings conducted by Erin Vadaro, Jennifer Corcoran, and James DeMelo, all officers in Psi Chi, Asako Hyuga, Katherine Jedynasty, Marykate Pascazi, Matthew Maynard, Nicole Baldassari, Stephen Masso, and Luke Hawksley(in photo from left to right) were formally welcomed as new members of Salve's Psi Chi chapter. Not in attendance and inducted in absentia were Meaghan Callanan, Meaghan Costello, Kara DiPaola, Molly Jacobus, and Lindsay Underhill. We congratulate them all.

April 16, 2008, Newport, RI : Following the induction ceremony for new members of Psi Chi held on April 15th, elections were held for officers for the upcoming year. April 16, 2008, Newport, RI : On Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 5:15PM in the Pell Center on Bellevue Avenue fourteen psychology majors were inducted into membership in Psi Chi. From left to right in the photo above they were: Carly Walas, Desire Beaumont, Ashley Donafrio, James deMello, Andrea Michel, Lauren Mecalizzi, Erin Vadaro, Deana McKenna, and Andrea kaufman. Unable to attend the induction were inductees Kristen Brewer, Katie Fava, Kristen McLaughlin, and Jennifer Sousa.

April 5, 2007, Newport, RI : At this year's induction ceremony for new Psi Chi members held on April 3rd, 2007, new officers were elected for the 2007-2008 academic year. They are(left to right in the photo below) Jennifer Corcoran, Co-VP, Service; Brielle Luciano,President; Kaenna Macauley, VP, Research; Alexandra Miller, Co-VP, Service; Kayleigh Novi, Treasurer; and Katharine Glover, Secretary. Congratulations to them all.

April 5, 2007, Newport, RI : The Salve Regina Chapter of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, conducted its 7th Annual Induction Ceremony Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007, at 4:30 PM in Ochre Court. Nine qualified candidates participated in the ceremony conducted by Drs. Sheila Quinn and Paula Martasian with the assistance of the 2006-2007 honor society officers(see April 28, 2006 story below). Inducted into the chapter from left to right in the photo above were: Danielle Brazil, Katharine Glover, Kayleigh Novi, Jennifer Corcoran, Kristina Peterson, Ashley Fournier, Christina Lee, Allegra Lovoy, and Christine Pezzi. Three inductees were unable to attend the ceremony and were inducted in absentia. They were Julie Grieco, Alison O'Brien, and Nicholas Zambrotta. Congratulations to them all! A reception followed attended by current members of Psi Chi, parents, Dr. Arthur Frankel, Fr. Michael Malone, Dr. Stephen Trainer, Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. Anthony Walsh,Chairman, Psychology and other guests.
